The Association of Japanologists of Russia invites foreign participants for the 6-th annual conference Japan in Search of a New Global Role. The conference will be held on the base of MGIMO-University in Moscow on December 12-13, 2013. The Conference will address a wide range of challenges faced by contemporary Japan in the context of the need to preserve leading positions in the international society. A particular emphasis will be placed on the issues of Japan’s international posture, especially the problems of security, Japan’s policy towards East Asia and Russo-Japanese Relations. The agenda of the Conference will include also the problems of Japan’s domestic politics, economy and culture. The working language of the conference will be Russian and Japanese.
